“Our family of three just returned from a fantastic stay at this exquisite hotel. It was our first time in the region and we couldn’t have found a more perfect home base for exploring Ek Balam, Chichen Itza, and Ria Lagartos. All staff were so welcoming and friendly and we really felt we had an authentic experience away from the large resorts of Cancun. Freshly prepared breakfast every day was delicious and a perfect start for our days of exploring - which ended with dinner by the pool and their signature cocktail Moot’s Paap. Special thanks to Gabriel our host, Wilberth the hotel’s excellent chef, and owner Alfredo for your vision in creating this oasis in Valladolid! “Perfect place to stay, no need to leave the hotel because everything you want is there. Great food, appropriate prices Hot stone massage really improved my back and shoulder pain.” - Sara
“Stayed a few nights on our honeymoon. The hotel is a beautiful oasis. The staff was always friendly and helpful. They spoke great English and were patient with our Spanish lol. The room was always comfortable. Never too hot or humid. The shower was great.
The hotel restaurant is one of the best in Valladolid. We had breakfast there everyday (it’s free) and a romantic dinner in the garden one night. The food and drinks were wonderful. They used bottled water for everything so it’s all safe to consume.
The real treasure are the hotel garden, cave, and pool. They were all beautiful and each offered a uniquely relaxing experience. The garden has several small areas that all feel private. We enjoyed the turtles and the swings. The pool and it’s murals are fit for instagram. But the real show stopper was the cave. The water is so warm and the waterfall was relaxing. I couldn’t believe how often we were the only people down there.” - Allison

“Location was excellent, right by the central square. An oasis in a noisy and busy town. Communal areas pleasant and tranquil. Pool small but clean and used by many, plenty of seating around. Nice bar, attentive staff. Big restaurant area but no one seemed to be using it. Breakfast very little choice, not the best, coffee tasteless and lukewarm. “A wonderful hotel in the center of Valladolid. Jesus and the staff, in general, were super helpful and they go above and beyond for their guests (i .e. Recommendations, breakfast, etc). Everything is in walking distance and it's a really nice area. The facilities are clean and well maintained, overall a perfect place to enjoy Valladolid and to visit the temples, cenotes around and to explore the city. Thank you again for making our stay so special!” - Fabian
“Wow what a beautiful location, the hotel is set in a renovated colonial building in a beautiful huge garden. There’s wonderful bird song all the time and lovely breeze through the trees. The rooms are spacious with enormous beds, lovely balconies and bohemian decor.
In some reviews people mentioned about the pool not being clean but that is definitely not the case as I saw the gardener clean it every morning, yes there are trees so some leaves might fall in but hardly any.
The breakfast is lovely and fresh with a fantastic jam (honestly best jam I’ve ever had!), it’s not huge but we prefer not to eat too much in the heat, but the size is sufficient. You can always pay a bit extra to choose from several different breakfasts, I had the avocado toast with eggs and it was very nice :) The owner and staff are super really friendly and will go out of their way to help you, thanks for making our stay great!
If only we could have hotel like this in all our destinations in Mexico !” - Amalia
